Accessibility:There are several spaces to park on the road around the village but no designated blue badge bays. At the car park on Union Street just off the A377 is a public disability toilet. The village is built on mild gradients and lacking in adequate pavement for wheelchair use in some areas.
Brief Description:
A small village parish in mid Devon with parish and Methodist churches and one of the first villages in Devon to have a day and night air ambulance landing site.

From Barnstable or Exeter on the A377 take the turn north into Morchard Road, just after the B2230. Follow the road into the village.

The village has a post office, surgery and the London Inn pub serving hot home made food. It is advised to book over the weekend. Crediton has a range of amenities. Travel to Exeter for an excellent variety of cafés, restaurants, pubs, places to stay and shops, including independents and boutiques. Other attractions include live music venues, museums, cinemas, outdoor activities and local attractions.
