Blue badge spaces are available in the car park and located close to the exit to the gardens. A drop off facility is also available at the front gate. If the blue badge holder is the driver, please contact us ahead of your visit and we can advise you on parking.

From the car park there is a short (100 yards) walk to Visitor Reception which includes a few steps and a gravel path.

The grounds of Mottistone Gardens are partly accessible with a mixture of gravel and grass paths. There are some steep slopes and steps throughout the gardens.

Directions

Take the Military Road, A3055, which travels along the South coast of the Island.

Take the Brook Village Road turning signposted for Brook.

In the village turn right onto the B3399, signposted for Mottistone.

Just before the village the entrance to the Estate & Gardens is on the left hand side, sign posted with brown signage.

Amenities

"Hunt around the garden on a free children's flowerpot trail or Photo ID trail. Both trails are most suitable for those aged 5-10 years but the whole family can join in. Pick one up at Visitor Reception.

Within the garden there are large grassy lawns for little ones to run around on and a ‘Wild Area’ for older children to climb trees and build dens in.

Baby-changing facilities are available in the accessible toilet within the gardens.

Pushchairs and baby back-carriers welcome in the gardens.

Highchairs are available from the tea garden – please ask if you would like to use one.

Water available to help yourself to in the tea garden in child-friendly glasses.

Ice creams are available to purchase from the shop.

Bottle warming facilities available.
