Mumbles Pier is easily accessible by car. There are 2 car parks, one on the same level as the pier and a higher one that leads to the pier by way of a very steep hill or steps. Both are pay-and-display and have limited designated disability spaces.

Fishing:

Mumbles Pier is renowned for its fishing. The Pier has two dedicated platforms for fishing open daily till dusk. Fishing permits can be purchased from the Beach Hut Cafe.

There have been lifeboats stationed at The Mumbles for over 175 years. During this time, more than 800 lives have been saved and many more people rescued – over 400 in the last 5 years alone.

The Amusements

A treasure trove of fun, no trip to the seaside is complete without a visit to the Amusements Arcade and ‘The Amusements’ at the Pier will be sure not to disappoint.

The Beach

Just next to the entrance to the Pier you will find our little sandy beach, south facing it enjoys the sun throughout the day and has some of the best rock pools on the Gower for the little ones to explore.

The Gamez Room

Our Gamez room is the perfect space for you to meet up with friends and have some much needed fun! This space offers something different and unique and can be exclusively yours.

The Pier

June 2019 saw the re-opening of Mumbles Pier after Phase 1 of its extensive refurbishment. This 835ft structure has dominated Swansea Bays landscape for over 100 years. Currently the Pier is halfway through a dramatic multi-million pound renovation project."

From the city centre, follow Oystermouth Road then Mumbles road.  Turn left into the entrance to the car park.

"Our pavilion cafe is the perfect place for hungry families to grab a bite to eat.

The café with its Beach Hut interior integrating with our grand Victorian style chandeliers offers panoramic views across Swansea Bay. Opening at 9am daily the Café has a full Breakfast menu as well as Lunch and Dinner menus.

Our specials board is changed weekly and offers an array of dishes carefully selected and created by our head chefs. If something sweet is what your after we also offer a selection of homemade cakes baked daily on site, as well as delicious sundaes and ice creams from our ice cream parlour."
