Accessibility:
The steep steps leading to the beach make it unsuitable for wheelchairs. There is parking in a field above the beach. Swimming conditions are considered safe at Mwnt but there is no lifeguard service.
Brief Description:Mwnt is a popular beach off the beaten track but can still get busy in the height of summer. Mwnt Church is the oldest church in Ceredigion; its location overlooking Cardigan Bay is stunning.

From Cardigan turn right at the third exit of the first roundabout onto the A487, then turn left onto B4548, at the traffic lights next to Tesco and follow signposts for Mwnt for approx. for 4 miles and then the beach and church are in front of you. OS SN 195519

Amenities:
Food and drinks are available in the kiosk when the toilet facilities are opened by the local council, but this tends to only be during the summer season. There is, however, a huge abundance of different places to eat and drink and a wide variety of places to stay in Cardigan.
