The Courts Garden is a classic early twentieth-century garden in the English style. It is situated on a fairly level site and is laid out in a series of yew-hedged garden ‘rooms’, which lead into each other through a series of grass and flagstone, brick and stone paths. Although there are a few low steps, the majority of the garden can be accessed without having to use these. There is also an orchard and arboretum with access over mown grass. Although level, these areas can become muddy in wet weather."

Brief description
"Delightful English country garden. Full of variety, this charming garden shows the English country style at its best.
Peaceful water gardens and herbaceous borders, with organically shaped topiary, demonstrate an imaginative use of colour and planting, creating unexpected vistas.
Stroll through the arboretum with its wonderful species of trees and naturally planted spring bulbs."
