"The Watersmeet estate comprises of approximately 2500 acres of wooded valleys, open moorland and some of the highest sea cliffs in England. With a wide selection of easy access short walks and more challenging paths Watersmeet appeals to a variety of visitor. At the heart of the estate sits Watersmeet House, a 19th century fishing lodge now a National Trust tea room and shop. Watersmeet House has been a popular meeting place since it started serving afternoon teas in the 1870s and continues to be frequented by a variety of visitors and locals alike."
