Directions:

Travelling east along the seafront road (Western Esplanade) which runs along the coast at Southend-on-Sea, turn up Pier Hill which is on the east side of Southend Pier and opposite the eastern section of Adventure Island (an amusement centre with roller coasters etc and easily visible as you drive along the seafront).  Pier Hill is the turning where Western Esplanade meets Marine Parade.  Follow Pier Hill into Royal Terrace and the Club is at the far end of Royal Terrace, a dead end section of the road.

From the A13 travelling east from London, turn south down Chalkwell Avenue (immediately after Chalkwell Park) and follow the road round into Western Esplanade travelling east until you reach Southend Pier and Pier Hill is the first turning on left after the Pier bridge (big sign on bridge saying "Welcome to Southend Pier").

From A127 follow signs to central Southend and seafront, travelling east (i.e. turning left) as you reach the end of the A127 in central Southend (by Southend Victoria train station), continue to follow signs to seafront.  Travel along road and through the underpass, keep following seafront signs and you will arrive at the seafront by the Kursaal (on your left).  Turn west (i.e. right turn) along seafront road (Marine Parade) past the various amusement arcades and Pier Hill is the turning opposite Adventure Island.
