There are many amenities in and around Newcastle Emlyn including, pubs, cafés, craft shops, high street stores and much more. Sadly the branch of HSBC bank has already permanently closed, with Barclays bank closing on Friday 16 November 2018 and Lloyds closing on Tuesday 29 January 2019, which will leave only the Post Office on the town's main street available for doing cash transactions.
