Brief Description:

Newport is a cathedral and university city located on the Usk estuary in south-east Wales. The city has previously hosted golf’s Ryder Cup as well as the 2014 NATO summit. It has been a port since medieval times and, up to the 1850s, it was Wales’ largest coal exporting port.
