"Between the car park and the entrance to the zoo, there is some loose stone. This stone makes it difficult for some children’s buggies & wheelchairs. Guests can park in front of the entrance whilst unloading/loading, but then the cars must be moved to the car park.

In the zoo, we regret that the ‘River Walk’ is not currently wheelchair friendly due to the steep inclines. However, the rest of the park pathways are made of a combination of concrete and tar planings. The loose tar planing's can make it difficult for some wheelchairs to manoeuvre. This is something which we are working on for the future.  https://www.northumberlandzoo.co.uk/index.php?route=information/zoomap
