The main town is relatively flat and there are a number of interesting places to visit around the North Pier. There are viewpoints above the town which are within walking distance, but also have pay and display car parking available nearby.
Public Conveniences are situated on North Pier (fully accessible) and Pulpit Hill.
Brief description
A busy port town, Oban is often referred to as the "Gateway to the Isles". It is surrounded by beautiful scenery of mountains, lochs and islands. The town expanded during the 19th century to cater for Victorian tourists visiting 'Fingal's Cave' in Staffa.
