Accessibility:

There is a disability wide parking space on the top of Torr Street but no blue badge parking bays in the immediate area. There are some narrow parking spaces on Church Lane. The lane has a gated wheelchair access entrance into the gardens and cemetery but with many steep steps leading up to the church entrance. Wheelchair access is through a ramped gate from Church Street via the tower door. The main entrance has two large steps into the church. The church toilet has not been adapted for wheelchair use. An AED defibrillator is available outside the Yealm Medical Centre. 


Brief Description:

The first church on this site existed over 1000 years ago. The current church was rebuilt around 1850. Historical features include the church font of Saxon origin, decorative brasses of the 16th century and an ancient stone tomb from 1630. The church offers services and Christian worship to the parish of Yealmpton.

Directions:

Travelling east or west on the A379 towards Yealmpton turn south into Torr Hill from the town centre. Take the first turn west into Church Lane. The church is visible from the road on the north side.
