Accessibility:

There limited parking at the church by the lych gate, where there is a step. The path up to the entrance of the church has slabs, and there is a step into the porch. There is a step down to the nearby well.

Brief Description:

St Issui’s Church has a very notable war painting of a skeleton man with a sword, and other war paintings. Just down the road from the church is an ancient well. This is St Issui’s Well, a hermit who lived here and was reputedly murdered by a passing traveller. It is still revered for its healing properties.
