Accessibility:

There are limited parking spaces around the church, and in the village of Penllech itself. There are no toilets on site – the nearest ones are in the village. The paving leading up to the entrance is wheel chair friendly. Guide dogs are welcome.

Brief Description:

Set on the Lleyn Peninsula, St Mary's at Penllech was vested in 2009 and has just emerged from a programme of repairs. It is medieval in origin but was mostly rebuilt in 1840.

Penllech is approx. 13 miles to the South West of Pwllheli via the B4417 (where it is situated just over 1/4 of a mile east along a track) and A497. OS SH 219 343.

There is a small handful of places to eat and drink nearby and in the village itself. There are plenty of places to stay and camp in the area, and Snowdonia is close by. The town of Pwllheli is approx. 15 miles away, where you will find a variety of places to visit.
