Brief description
https://www.perennialstdavids.co.uk/about-us
"The Perennial is a Garden, a plant nursery, a Cafe, a shop selling Rhosgadw beef and lamb, local produce, plus a range of hand made bird, bee and bat boxes.
The Perennial is the result of a long standing dream of the two founding partners, Gill and Pippa. They wanted to create a productive garden and a space that brings pleasure to visitors and grow top quality plants, salad leaves and vegetables food without the aid of chemicals, pesticides or peat. Gill has retired now but can still be seen at the Perennial occasionally, nourishing the newer woodland areas. The team many of whom are shareholders in the business are taking the dream forward.
The mission for the Perennial is to inspire and enthuse visitors to garden and grow in their own spaces however small (or large). The Perennial also hopes to put something back into the local community through employing and training younger staff, adding to the St Davids visitor experience and supporting the best of local food producers.
The Perennial is supported by a very able team of knowledgeable friendly staff who are here to make your visit enjoyable.
Perennial Garden:
We have a garden and a woodland which features many of the plants we stock for sale; but importantly it is a garden to take time out in; enjoy the visual feast and relax with a cup of tea in one of the seating areas. It is a work in progress as we restore and extend the garden and the woods - part of the delight of gardening is the journey you take as you and your garden grow and change."

2023: "Opening times are 11am - 4.30 pm every day. The hot food varies according to the chef who does daily specials. But we always have quiche and hot soup plus paninis/toasties from opening till around 4 pm/or we run out. The Cafe is proud to serve local and home-made food made with organic ingredients wherever possible: we have fine leaf teas, blended locally, Welsh roasted coffee, home-made cakes, scones, quiche and sandwiches if you are visiting for lunch.
Farm shop https://www.perennialstdavids.co.uk/farm-shop
In the shop we sell our own-grown salads and our own freshly cut flowers (in season). We also sell tea, coffee, jams, honey, local organic cheese and the chutneys that we serve in the cafe.
We also sell Rhosgadw Farm meat from a family run farm just two miles down the road from the Perennial. Their herd of Herefords graze on grass and the heathland on the common land surrounding the farm. All the beef is hung 21 days giving the meat the maximum flavour and tenderness. The lamb is from a flock of ewes which graze locally, all year on grass.
And if there is something delicious fresh and seasonal we have been able to source locally you'll find it on our shelves. Our garden and cafe site has been renovated and restored by local craftsmen and in the shop and around the garden we have examples of their work which you can buy or order. Our Garden theme is also represented in the Gardenalia we stock for sale and feature a range of stock through the season, as available.
Plant nursery: https://www.perennialstdavids.co.uk/plants
Our Plants: We specialise in contrasting plant types: hardy perennial plants which thrive in challenging coastal conditions. We also have dramatic plants to make a statement in a border or pot, house plants and scented leaf geraniums (or more properly we should call them pelargoniums) which love a sheltered sunny corner. We propagate and grow many of our own plants. We are participating in the National Botanic Garden 'Saving Pollinators' scheme using peat free, pesticide free compost and growing plants for pollinators. https://botanicgarden.wales/science/saving-pollinators"
