There is disability parking available in the main car park as well as disability toilets near to the courtyard entrance. There are 3 wheelchairs available to borrow from the ticket office free of charge. Around 70% of the grounds are wheelchair-friendly and the castle tours are fully accessible.
Brief Description:
Picton Castle dates back to medieval times; it was originally built at the end of the 13th century. The castle is set in over 40 acres of grounds, which includes a walled garden, a Mediterranean garden, The Welsh Owl Garden, lawnmower museum, a maze and a children’s playground. The castle is open for guided tours and sometimes houses exhibitions, fairs and workshops as well as being available for weddings. Dogs on a lead are welcome in the gardens.

Directions:
Picton Castle and Gardens are located off the A40 between Canaston Bridge and Haverfordwest. After 3.7 miles from Haverfordwest, or 3.3 miles from Canaston Bridge, take the turning signposted to Picton Castle – which is 2 miles further on. Further on from the turning for Picton Castle, the road continues to a good viewpoint of the Cleddau Ddu river estuary.
