The church is raised on a slightly sloping ground. Pathways laid to tarmac. Some roadside parking outside of the church.

Amenities:

Convenience shops, swimming pool, pubs and restaurants/takeaways, pharmacy, and post office can all be found in the local area. Most are on Herbert Street which is left out of the church and the first road to your left.

Brief Description:

The Church of St Pater is sometimes also know as The Cathedral of the Valley due to its presence. The building of the church started in 1858 and was consecrated in 1862. The churches spire is 208ft tall.
