There is car parking with disability spaces a short walk from the station. Parking is free for rail users, so long as they obtain a proof of travel ticket from the ticket office on the platform to display in their car. The platforms are accessible via level ramps or stairs, both with handrails. There is also a public lift. Dogs on leads are welcome. The platform has outdoor sheltered seating, and some indoor seating (currently unavailable due to Covid restrictions). There are two digital arrivals boards at the platforms as well as one at the north facing entrance to the station, by the car park. This station does not have any ticket barriers. Contact free ticket purchasing is available on the station via a ticket machine. You can also purchase tickets and rail cards from the ticket office during open hours. There are no toilets or changing facilities at Prestatyn station.

Nearest public toilets are upstairs in M&S (accessible via a lift), 0.2 miles to the east of Prestatyn Station, on the retail park. There are also some public toilets outside the stations car park to the north, however these toilets require payment to access.
