The on-site parking is for permit-holders only, however, you can park in nearby public car parks: Knox Road Multi-story car park (CF24 0EA) or Cardiff Dumfries Place NCP (CF10 3FN).

The access around the buildings is flat and pavements are wide, with dropped-kerbs. There are no toilet facilities at the buildings. Brief Description:

Queen’s Buildings Cardiff is a Grade II listed building in the heart of Cardiff. The site was built in 1915 by E.M. Bruce Vaughan, architect of Cardiff, as the Department of Physiology of the Welsh National School of Medicine. They were one of the last Gothic Revival designs to be built in Cardiff and it was listed for the high architectural interest as a prominently-sited Gothic Revival tower-facade retaining high-quality sculpture.

The buildings are currently used by several faculties of Cardiff University.

Directions:

The Queen’s Buildings are located on the junction of the A4161 and West Grove in the Tredegarville area of Cardiff, away from the main Cardiff University campus.

From the M4 take junction 32 onto the A470 towards Cardiff (N). Follow this for about 4 miles, all the time following the signs for Cardiff city centre. After 4 miles take a left turn onto the A4161 – signposted towards the ‘National Museum Cardiff’ and the Civic Centre. Follow the A4161 for about half a mile and the Queen’s Buildings are located on the left at the crossroads of the A4161 and West Grove and the A4160.
