Accessibility                   

No parking on site. There are 3 car parks nearby at Rainham Station, Tesco (3hrs) and a council car park adjacent to Tesco, all within a few minutes level walk.
No ramp access to Rainham Hall. Main access to the reception area in The Stables is via a cobbled path.
Alternative entrance just around the corner on Wennington road which goes through the garden, but the path is not smooth.
Stairs to upper floors within the Hall.

Brief description                    

Rainham Hall was built in 1729 for Captain John Harle, a sea merchant. It has been home to nearly 50 different residents over the years, it is now owned by The National Trust. Visitors can access both the gardens and the house.  It has changing exhibitions throughout the year.

Rainham is about 15miles/24km east (via A13) of the City of London, north of the Thames.
Rainham Hall is situated  in the centre of Rainham on the B1335, next to the Parish Church. OS TQ  521 821
