"Access to the museum is via the red door on Park Row. Immediately upon entering there is a flight of nine stone steps and a further flight of stairs into the house, as well as stairs to all floors and to the garden.
We have a small space for buggies at the bottom of the stone steps into the house. Please ask for assistance upon entering.
If you have a mobility issue, please contact us in advance as we can open the Lodge Street entrance for you to view the garden. Lodge Street is steep and the garden has a paved pathway with some uneven slabs. There are a number of stone steps leading from the garden into the house.
Folders containing photographs of the displays upstairs are available on the ground floor.
Assistance dogs are welcome. There are standard toilets available on the ground floor with a small step to the toilet room."
2022: "There is no designated parking for The Red Lodge. There are pay and display standard parking bays on Perry Street which you can park in as per Bristol City Councils policy, 'With a valid Blue Badge on display in your vehicle, you can park all day in any on-street pay and display parking bay in the city of Bristol, free of charge.'

Please note that due to ongoing works at Colston Hall there is currently a pedestrian diversion in place on Trenchard Street, with no access to the Red Lodge Museum from the bottom of Lodge Street / Colston Hall (due to reopen in 2020 with a new name)."
