Accessibility:

The entrance to the park is wheelchair-accessible along flat ground. The park building has good wheelchair accessibility throughout. The customer building has a large disability access toilet with grab rails, low level toilet holder and alarm pull cord. Disability blue badge parking is available in the Isabella Plantation car park and reached from the road into the park from Ham Cross. Richmond Park is the largest of its kind in London and first created as a deer park by Richard I in 1625 . It is now a nature reserve and includes many buildings of historical and architectural interest.

Pedestrian gates open 24 hours a day and during November and February from 07:30am to 08:00pm.

Open to vehicles from 7:00am in the summer and 7:30am in the winter. Vehicle gates close at dusk all year round

Directions:

If travelling by train use Richmond Station and including the tube using the District Line. There are bus connections to the park (see transport section). Travelling by car and from the South Circular Road, take the B351 south along Sheen Gate. From the direction of the A3 and A308 travel north along Queens Road to enter the park.
