"The Salvation Army Risca Foodbank is based in Pontymister at The Salvation Army Headquarters on Commercial Street NP11 6BA opposite the Coffee Mill. We are here to help those families/people who are struggling Financially. If you are on Benefits then this does not give you the right to a Food Parcel. If you have no money left after all bills are paid then you can be referred to the Foodbank by your Case/Social Worker. Your Case/Social Worker will then email us with a Food voucher for you to which we will arrange for your Case/Social Worker to collect or we will deliver to you. You can contact the follow agencies where a food parcel request can be obtained. Please contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau, sections of Caerphilly County Borough Council, Risca CAP Debt Centre, Plattform, POBL, Risca Community Comprehensive School, Risca CV19 Volunteers Group, St.David's Methodist Church and Ty Sign Primary School."
