Brief Description:
The Roman Army Museum was reopened in 2011 after being renovated and modernised. The museum gives visitors an insight into frontier life on the northern edge of the Roman Empire. The museum shows genuine Roman artefacts including weapons and tools and a 3D film showing Hadrian's Wall origins and present, along with a large timeline of the Wall.
