Ramp at front entrance. For further details, contact the venue. Blue badge parking spaces are available on the road near to the building with 4-hour time restrictions. The nearest NCP car park is off Kensington High Street at the London Royal Garden Hotel (W8 4PT) which has disability parking bays. There is no nearby Shopmobility centre for use in the area where the building is located.

Directions:

The Darwin Building is situated to the south west of corner of Hyde Park at the foot of Kensington Gardens. Follow the A315 from Kensington or Knightsbridge along the south side of Hyde Park towards the Royal Albert Hall. The Darwin Buildingwill become visible on Kensington Gore, facing Hyde Park and next to the Royal Albert Hall. However finding a parking space is very difficult, and there is a very limited number of disability blue badge parking bays also. The nearest NCP car park is off Kensington High Street at the London Royal Garden Hotel (W8 4PT) which has disability parking bays.

Term-time: 8:30am – midnight (no re-entry after 10:00pm)


Weekends & Bank Holidays: 10:00am – 6:00pm


Summer holiday: 10:00am – 6:00pm (no weekends or Bank Holidays)

Amenities:

During term times the college campus provides facilities to eat and drink. The RCAfé serves coffee, drinks, sandwiches and snacks. The Art Bar serves alcoholic drinks, refreshments and has its own café. The college Canteen offers a salad bar with a wide range of hot meals a desserts including vegetarian options.

Nearby Queensgate and Exhibition Road have a limited number of bars, restaurants and cafés. The Darwin Building is not located in a shopping area. Visit Kensington High Street which has a wide variety of branded shops and independents. The area has many places to eat including cafés restaurants and bars. Other amenities include high street banks, opticians, food shops and pharmacies.
