Brief description

https://cadw.gov.wales/open-doors-ruin-st-marys-church-and-churchyard

"Perched a short distance on the hillside above Tintern Abbey, and just off a medieval pilgrimage trail, the Grade II listed ruin of St Mary's Church / Llanandras was originally built by the Cistercians for their lay tenants as a separate place of worship. The ruin is on a Celtic site previously dedicated to either St Andrew or St Andras. It has medieval parts, Victorian extensions and beautiful views down to Tintern village, the river Wye, Tintern Abbey and over to Offa's Dyke. The churchyard is a wildflower meadow containing rare monuments. Pedestrians only, no road or disabled access."
