Mon-Fri 10am-4.30pm. Sat 10.30am-4.30pm. Closed Sunday.



Directions:

Situated 5.5 miles north/west of Wentbridge. Head south/west on Wentbridge Lane, turning right onto Doncaster Road/A639. Continue following A639 for approximately 4 miles. Turn left onto Jubilee Way/A639. Take exit towards Tanshelf industrial estate and then turn left onto Stuart Road. Turn right staying  on Stuart Road, and turn right again for Pontefract Museum, which is on the precinct, next to Pontefract Library. OS SE455219.




Transport:

Pontefract Baghill is the closest station to the museum. Bus services operate in and around the area with stops located on Stuart Road, a short walk from the museum.
