Accessibility:

Parking is limited at the abbey, with space for up to 10 cars approximately 250 yards/metres from admission point. Alternatively, closer parking is available for 2 cars beside the admissions point. Please call ahead to discuss parking arrangements. Accessible toilets on-site. Assistance dogs welcome. 


Brief Description:

Roche Abbey was once a monostary founded in 1147 and was home to 50 monks, 100 lay brothers and servants. After its suppression in 1538 most of the buildings were dismantled, leaving the ruins seen today.
