Accessibility:

A Hearing induction loop available, as well as large print hymn books. Assistance dogs welcome. On-street parking is situated outside of the church. There are four stone steps with hand rail leading to the church grounds. The path leading to the main doors is on a slight incline. Further along from the steps is a ramped pathway leading to the church. Toilets are located opposite the church in the church cottage.


Brief Description:

St Augustine's church was built between 1401 and 1405 by Bishop Walter de Skirlaw. The perpendicular architecture is still as it was when it was first built and is a grade I listed building.

Directions:

Situated 8.8 miles from Hull. Head North/East on A165/Holderness Road. At roundabout take 3rd exit to continue on Holderness Road/A165. At next roundabout take 2nd exit and continue on A165/Ganstead Lane. After 4.7 miles take 2nd exit onto Church Lane. Follow road for 0.1 miles. The church will be on your left hand side.
