Accessibility:

There is parking at the museum and two designated spaces for blue badge holders. A stone ramp leads into the museum entrance, and there is level access once inside. Two of the three country park walks are wheelchair accessible. A hearing induction loop is available, assistance dogs are welcome and there are accessible toilets on site.

Brief Description:

Worsbrough Mill has been in operation since around 1625, and the mill house dates back to the mid 18th century. Events are held throughout the year including food fairs, treasure hunts, family fun weekends, as well as traditional country fairs. Tours of the Mill take place regularly, showing how the flour is made. The country park is set in over 240 acres, with fishing lakes and walks.

Mill Museum-The Mill is currently open Thursday - Sunday, 10am - 3pm. Please note that the Mill itself is not in operation at the minute due to a fault with machinery. We are working to get this fixed with a professional Millwright as soon as possible.

Worsbrough Mill has the Miller's Tea Room cafe situated in the main courtyard next to the shop and Visitor Centre. Offering a range of fresh locally roasted coffee and specialty teas, freshly made stone baked pizzas, breakfast and deli style sandwiches, handmade cakes, ice creams and daily specials it is the perfect place to relax and appreciate the tranquil surroundings of the Country Park.

Inside and outside seating available.

Allergies - Menu items may contain or come into contact with wheat, eggs, nuts and milk. Unfortunately due to the risk of cross contamination, Millers Tea Room is not able to cater to allergies with food prepared in the kitchen. They do have some counter items which may be suitable, please contact them for more information.

Directions:

Situated 3 miles South of Barnsley. Head South/East on A628. At roundabout, take 3rd exit onto Sheffield Way/A61. Follow A61 for 2 miles. Upon reaching Worsbrough Mill on your right hand side, the Mill Museum will be the next right off of Park Road. OS SE349033.

Transport:

The closest train station is Barnsley. Buses services operate in the area, however the closest stops to the mill are situated on Park Road. Theses are approximately five minutes away. Easily accessed by car, parking is on site.
