"Sessions House is a Victorian building originally built to house 2 courtrooms. The Sessions House was opened in 1877 having taken 20 years to complete. Built as the Quarter Sessions Court for the whole of Monmouthshire. It is, in true Victorian style, perfectly symmetrical even to the use of a false door to ensure that symmetry. The Sessions House now owned by Usk Town Council offers use of the Mather Library and Victorian Courtroom for hire by businesses, organisations and the Arts"
