Accessibility:
By car although there isn’t a car park but limited parking outside the main entrance on the south side of the A4118. There are 2 disability blue badge parking spaces outside the entrance of the gardens within the Park for blue badge holders; disabled motorists can access these by driving along the tarmac drive through the Park gates on the south side of the A4118 (please see the local map below). Some doorways and pathways are uneven and some paths are obstructed by planters/sculptures.

Directions:
By car from the City centre follow the A4118 through The Uplands to Sketty. Alternatively it can be reached from the west of the city via the A4067 coast road & then the A4216 and at Sketty crossroads west onto the A4118, or from the north from junction 47 of the M4 Motorway, travelling south on the A483 dual-carriageway & then the A4216 and at Sketty crossroads west onto the A4118. Catch the number 4 or 10 bus service from Swansea Quadrant bus station to the University campus, then a 10 minute walk through the main park to the Botanical gardens. Amenities:
There is a small visitor information centre and disability toilet (RADAR/NKS key) and baby-changing facilities with ramp and handrail access. The plant shop is open every Saturday from 10am-2pm April to September. Nearby Sketty has a range of shops, and there is a very wide range of amenities in Swansea.
