"Slade Garden is set in a beautiful 9 acre garden, including a stunning view of Dunraven Bay. A stones throw from the beach, the garden is magical to explore whatever your age!
The house and gardens were originally built for Caroline Countess of Dunraven in 1852, in the Cottage Orne Style and has been extended over the years, now includes a variety of features, from ancient woodland to herbaceous borders & specialist trees.
Please note all tours need to be pre-booked. For booking & general enquiries please call 01656 880048 or email ros@sladewoodgarden.plus.com. Joint Garden & Farm tours are also available contact us if you are interested and we can work out an itinerary that works for you! Coach parking is available on request. There is also a campsite, "We do not have any electric hook ups, toilets or showers. Our rates are £15.00 per night & can only take a small number of units, so to avoid disappointment it is best to pre-book. However, you can also just turn up & stay if we have space!
We can only take bookings from Camping & Caravaning Club members, to become a member have a look at the Camping & Caravanning Club Website. If you are looking for a campsite with more facilties try the 3 Golden Cups in Southerndown Village."

"5m South of Bridgend.
From M4 J35 Follow A473 to Bridgend. Take B4265 to St. Brides Major. Turn R in St. Brides Major for Southerndown, then follow sign to the Beach, just past Beach Rd Car Park CF32 0RT, and 250 yards before the start of the hill down to the beach, on the north side of the road take the driveway to the venue; the entrance to its campsite is adjacent to the driveway entrance."
