St Afan’s church is in the middle of the village of Llanafan, which has narrow lanes and no pavements. However, there is a small layby by the lychgate of the church, but care should be taken.
Brief Description:
Grade II listed St Afan’s Church is in the centre of the village of Llanafan. A church has been on this site since medieval times, but the current building dates back to 1860. The church is constructed of shale rubble with bath stone dressings. It consists of nave (3 bays), chancel, south transept, south porch and boilerhouse (between south transept and chancel).
