St Andrew's is on raised ground just off the A442. There is a small visitors' parking area close to the church; approximately 100 yards (90 metres) from the church building. There is a short, tarmacadam pathway through double wooden gates, leading from the car parking area to the church entrance. The pathway is on an incline which is quite steep in places, leading to/from the church yard gates on either side.
Brief description
St. Andrews Church, Quatt, is in the United Anglican Benefice of St. Mary's and St. Andrews, a member of Bridgenorth Deanery and the Diocese of Hereford. Regular church Services and a range of other activities are held at St Mary's and St. Andrew's and visitors are welcome.
St. Andrew's Church is a Grade II* listed building at the heart of the small, historic village of Quatt, near Bridgenorth, Shropshire. St. Andrew's has been the family chapel of the Wolryche-Whitmore Family of nearby Dudmaston Hall, their ancestors and descendants, for nearly 900 years. (Dudmaston Hall is now owned by the National Trust and is open to the public) Parts of St. Andrew's date back to the 12th Century. Much of the church was rebuilt in 1763 and its North Chapel was also rebuilt in the 1950s. St. Andrew's Church contains a number of very interesting historical arefacts and memorials relating to the Wolryche- Whitmore family and Dudmaston Hall.
Quatt Village War Memorial can be found in the Churchyard of St. Andrew's. To the left of the church entrance door, there is also a plaque commemorating Lieutenant Thomas Wilkinson V.C. a member of it's parish, who was awarded the Victoria Cross for heroism, who died in World War One.

St. Andrew's Church, Quatt is on the A442 Road, approximately 5 miles from Bridgenorth. Shropshire and approximately 10.5 miles from Kidderminster (just over the border into Worcestershire).

St. Andrew's Church building is not always open - please contact the Church if planning to visit, prior to travelling, to arrange access and for up-to-date information including opening times. (In addition, as at June 2021, opening times are subject still to National UK Government's COVID-19 restrictions).

By Rail: The nearest mainline National Railway Station is Kidderminster (approximately 10. 5 miles from Quatt). (Kidderminster Station has step-free access to the Worcester-bound platform via a ramp. Step-free route between platforms is 240metres using lifts. The Station is not fully step-free. There is step-free interchange between Kidderminster Railway Station and the heritage 'Severn Valley Railway' terminus which is situated alongside the station . Toilet facilities including Disabled toilets (non-Radar Key-operated) are situated within the station booking hall (available during daytime hours when the booking hall is open). Refreshments available.
Between Spring- Autumn, the privately-operated heritage 'Severn Railway Line' also operates a steam train service between Kidderminster and Bridgenorth Station (approximately 5.1 miles from Quatt) - for information on timetables, prices and accessibility including for wheelchair users- see link.
By Bus: Bus Service no. 297 (Bridgenorth- Kidderminster) stops 133 yards (1 minute's walk) away from St. Andrew's on the A442, and stops en route near Bridgenorth Heritage Railway Station ( approximately 0.2 miles away - 6 minutes' walk to bus stop).
