Brief Description:
St. Anne’s Church is around a mile outside Carmarthen in the direction of Llanelli on the A484 at Cwmffrwd. It was built in 1866 by T.W.A.Thompson of coursed, squared rock-faced rubble with paler dressings and a slate roof. There is a nave and chancel under a single roof with a single bellcote, canted apse and two north gables (transept and organ chamber), and gabled south-western porch. There is an early-nineteenth century organ with rounded angles and Regency Gothic panels.
