Accessibility:

There is a disability toilet, but there isn’t a level entrance but there are access ramps throughout.  Disabled motorists can park in front of the north side of the cathedral, availability permitting. Disabled people are recommended to contact the Cathedral office to discuss their needs.



Brief description:

Saint Asaph Cathedral is the Mother Church of the Diocese of St Asaph, one of the six dioceses of the Church in Wales. The present building was started in the 13th century and has later additions. It is reputed to be the smallest ancient cathedral in Great Britain. It is the home of the William Morgan Bible. Opening times:

From 9am – 6.30pm (Mon-Sat) and 7.30am – 4.00pm on Sunday. Please see its website for details of services. Admission is free but donations are welcome 


Directions:

Situated south of the A55 Expressway, on the A525 in the centre of Saint Asaph, on top of the hill at OS SJ 039 743, about 1/4 of mile from the bridge over the River Elwy. All visitors are asked to use the pay and display car park directly opposite the Cathedral. Parking is free after 6pm and all day on Sundays, off the A525. Coaches are asked to contact the Cathedral Office for information 01745 582245
