Accessibility:

The entrance to the church is a wrought iron gate in a stone wall on a relatively narrow back street (Henryd Road).  There is no designated parking outside the church although on-street parking is available on the next street - Bryn Tirion Park.

Brief Description:

St Benedict's Church has 13th century origins but the earliest part, the east nave, has been extended and added to over the centuries with a 15th century chancel, 15th to 16th century porch and a 16th century chapel, with windows from the 19th century.

There are 16 beautiful late 15th century painted panels on the ceiling over the chancel which depict full length images of saints in red, olive and grey.
