Directions

"St Cadoc's Hospital is a short walk from Caerleon town centre, which is a small town famous for its Roman history.

By Car: Please view Google Maps for directions. Car Parking facilities are available along the main driveway, and outside the main Hospital entrance. Additional parking is located at Glen Usk Wing with limited parking for staff, patients and visitors at The Clinic and outside Ty Bryn Child and Adolescent Unit.

Parking at St Cadoc's Hospital is free.

From the North:
The main road from the north is the A4042 from Hereford and Abergavenny. Follow the A4042 south to it's junction with the B4236, near Cwmbran, turn left onto the B4236 and continue through Llanfrechfa and Ponthir to Caerleon. After crossing the bridge over railway line, going downhill into Caerleon, turn right into Broadwalk (a one-way street), by the opticians on the corner, at the end of the Broadwalk, turn right. Continue uphill for a short distance, after crossing the small railway bridge, turn left into the main drive of the hospital grounds.

From the South / M4 travelling West:

Leave the M4 at junction 25 and turn right onto the B4596 (Caerleon Road) and follow signs for Caerleon, continue over the river bridge into Caerleon, and bear left into the one-way system. Follow signs for the University and turn left onto Lodge Road, as the road bears right across the open green space. Continue on Lodge road for two hundred meters or so, after crossing the small railway bridge, turn left into the main drive of the hospital grounds.

From the South / M4 travelling East:

Leave the M4 at junction 26 and go right around the roundabout towards Newport. Continue for a short distance to the first major junction at the Harlequin Roundabout, go right at this roundabout and continue all the way round, taking the exit the A4042 to Cwmbran and Abergavenny / M4 East
take extra care at this roundabout as it is large and confusing with the junctions for the M4 (West) and M4 (East) close together off the same exit. At the next roundabout turn right and continue alongside the M4 turning left at the next roundabout at the junction with the B4596 (Caerleon Road)and follow signs for Caerleon, continue over the river bridge into Caerleon, and bear left into the one-way system. Follow signs for the University and turn left onto Lodge Road, as the road bears right across the open green space. Continue on Lodge road for two hundred meters or so, after crossing the small railway bridge, turn left into the main drive of the hospital grounds
