St. Catherine's is accessible on foot only, across a grassy field and does not have direct vehicle access. Nearest parking is roadside parking adjacent to the field. Entry and exit on foot across the field is via two gates. Take care in wet weather as the field may be muddy and slippery, and there is no hard surfaced pathway. Large print service books available.

Directions
Tugford is a small village approximately 9 miles from Craven Arms, via the A49 between Shrewsbury (24 miles) and Ludlow (10 miles), and off the B4368 road.
From Shrewsbury, take the A49 towards Ludlow, then at Church Stretton take the B4371 to Rushbury, followed by left turn at the junction with the B4368 , then follow the B4368 for approximately 3 miles until it reaches Tugford. St Catherine's is in the village of Tugford.
Opening Times
St. Catherine's Church is ordinarily open for Holy Communion service every 3rd Sunday of the month at 09:45 hours. However please note (as at April 2022) St. Catherine's is currently closed to visitors due to interior building renovation work, estimated until late 2022. For latest update, please check the website or by using contact details, before planning to travel and visit.
Transport
By Train: Nearest Railway Station: Craven Arms Station ( approx 9 miles) operated by Transport for Wales ( TFW) on the Chester - Cardiff Central Line. The station is not staffed and does not have a ticket office, toilets or refreshment facilities. Step free access to Platform 1 (to Shrewsbury) is available via a ramp from Ash Close. Step free access to Platform 2 (to Hereford) is available from the car park. Both platforms are connected via a footbridge only. To complete the journey to Tugford, local private hire cars or taxis are available from Craven Arms.
There are no direct bus services to Tugford but taxi services are available from Craven Arms or Ludlow to Tugford.
