Accessibility:

The church does not have a car park, but there is a layby just off the road outside the church which is big enough for three or four cars. There is a wooden gate and the path that leads to the church door has four steps to negotiate. The door also has a small lip into the church.

Brief Description:

St Cattwg’s Church mostly dates back to the 14th century, with a late Norman stoup and a 13th century font. The churchyard is home to a 7th-9th century Celtic incised cross. The stone is carved with two ring-crosses, one above the other, and the top cross has four small circles arranged around it. It is said to commemorate the burial place of Aulach, father of King Brychan, the 5th century founder of the kingdom of Brecknock.
