Accessibility:
St Cuthberts is located in the heart of Carlisle and surrounded by busy roads, however the church sits in a pedestrianised zone which denies vehicle access. There are designated car parks only a short distance away.
Brief Description:
The current church that stands on the site of St Cuthberts dates from approximately 1778, the church has previously been rebuilt 3 times before this dating back to 685 AD. The church has a series of windows dedicated to the life of St Cuthbert and a unique moving pulpit.

Directions:
Situated 10.7 miles S of Gretna Green via the A74(M) and onto the M6, exiting at junction 44, taking the 4th exit at roundabout S onto the A7/Kingstown Road. Continue following the A7 to roundabout and continue straight onto Georgian Way. At junction continue straight over onto Spencer Street and then turn right onto Warwick Road. Here use the middle lane to turn left onto The Crescent/A7(one way traffic) and then turn right onto English Street. At the end of this road turn left and then immediately right onto Blackfriars Street, where you will find St Cuthberts located to your left.
