The doorway to the cathedral is along the side of the cathedral on Cathedral Walk. There is a ramp and level access through the main door. The interior is laid to a hard floor and the central aisle is wide.
There are no toilet facilities at St David’s Cathedral. Marks & Spencer, immediately to the north, has a café and disability toilet facilities. Brief Description:
Grade II listed St David’s Roman Catholic Cathedral in Cardiff dates back to 1884-7 and it became the cathedral of the Cardiff Archdiocese in 1916. It is built from Pennant sandstone, in Early English style, with 4-stage tower, tall 5-light window with geometrical tracery. The cathedral is also known as the Metropolitan Cathedral Church of St. David.

Directions:
St David’s Cathedral is situated on Charles Street in the centre of Cardiff. From the A4161 take the left turn just after the train bridge into Station Terrace. Continue along Station Terrace, past Cardiff Queens Street train station; the road changes name into Guildford Street. At the traffic lights take the left turn onto Churchill Way and at the end of Churchill Way, at the traffic lights, take the right lane and turn right onto the A4160. Immediately get into the right-hand lane and turn first right into Mary Ann Street. Take first right again into David Street and keep going along this road – it will change name into Charles Street. The cathedral is along here on the left.
