Accessibility: 

Access to the churchyard and church is via a set of gates which have steps(ramped). Pavements are level and maintainted. The interior of the church is disability and pushchair friendly, however there are steps up to the altar area. Hearing loop facility available. Interpretation panels(bilingual) giving brief historic and information facts.

Brief description:

St. Deniol's Church is a Georgian Grade I listed building. Designed by Richard Trubshaw and built 1736-1739 of red brick with stone dressing.  The interior has: a complete set of original box pews with the Puleston family crest, nave, chancel, apsidal sanctuary (semi-circular) and Rococo ceiling decorations. On the east side is an armorial stained glass window originally from Emral Hall. At the west end is the gallery which sits on cast iron columns. It also has a three-storey tower with the clock by Joyce of Whitchurch.

The church is part of The Historic Churches of Wrexham Open Church network.

Take the A525 and travel south east. Take the B5069 which leads to Church Road. Take a sharp left which leads to the church situated on your left. OS SJ 418463

Amenities:

Street parking only outside the church.  There is no designated disability parking available.  Disability Access to the church is available in the form of a ramp and the aisle inside the church is suitable for wheelchair users. There are a couple of steps up to the altar area. The main door opens inwards. Toilet facilities are available at the nearby local pubs.
