Brief description

"St Edburg's Church is a Grade I listed building, dating from the Norman period" (circ 1120). The Chancel Arch, South Aisle and Lady Chapel date from the 13th century. From the 14th century to the present-day areas of the church, including the building of the West Tower (15th century) have been extended and restored. The Wooden Painted Screen with flowers, birds, and insects was added from 1882-1884.

The War Memorial 1918 - 1945 is located within the church grounds.
