2025: "Llantwd (English: Llantood ) is a village in the community of Cilgerran , Pembrokeshire , Wales . [ 1 ] In days gone by, it had the names "Llantyd", "Llantwid" and "Llan-Illtyd", [ 2 ] but these were displaced by the current Anglicized name. The Welsh name for Llantwd was standardized by the Place Names Standardization Panel. [ 3 ]
Although it is in a fragile state, St Illtud's Church still stands there. [ 4 ] "
