Brief description:
Dunwich, also known as 'the lost city of England', is a 12th Century coastal port town with a small community. The 2016 census revealed a population of only 864 people. Although the port has long since gone, Dunwich has plenty of other attractions to visit including; Dunwich Museum, Greyfriars Priory, RSPB Minsmere and Dingle Marshes, Dunwich River and Dingle Hill Tea-rooms. Dunwich has it's own beach and public toilets which are also wheelchair accessible. These can be found at the end of St James' Street along Beach Road. Dunwich is a site of archaeological interest and steeped in history, well worth a visit! http://www.bbc.co.uk/suffolk/content/articles/2008/11/03/leper_chapel_dunwich_feature.shtml and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunwich
