Brief description
"The stout Norman church tower capped by a quirky 18th century cupola is the perfect finishing touch to the scene.
Much of the body of the church is from the 13th and 14th centuries, and it is unusual in that the chancel as well as the nave have clerestories. The 15th century chancel screen is both delicate and elaborate and pulls the eye along the nave.
The south chapel also has a lovely screen, from the 14th century. In this chapel are brass effigies to Sir John Berners and his wife from the mid 1500s. There are many other monuments in the church, particularly in the chancel and the Kempe Chapel."
