St John the Evangelist, Oxborough. Open Daily. Free Entry.
Details
Accessibility:
The grounds of the church leading to the entrance are grass covered so may be inconvenient for wheelchair users on a wet day. The entrance has a slight step. There is no parking at the church itself but there are a few road-side spaces and the Bedingfeld Arms Pub has a car park.
Brief Description:
This is a 14th Century Norfolk Church with rare 16th Century Terracotta Tombs. The church was partially ruined when the tower collapsed in 1948 destroying the nave. However, the 16th century Bedingfield Chapel to the south of the chancel survived.
