There is a gravel footpath leading to the church entrance.

The Church interior is accessed via two steps.

The grounds and graves are accessed by uneven ground.

If closed, a key is available from Church Farm (next door) or The Coach & Horses Public House nearby.

Brief description

"St Katherine's Church" is a Grade II listed building dating from the1750's, Georgian period. The church was built using materials from the demolished medieval St. Mary's Chapel and later dedicated to St. Katherine in 1763. 

The Church interior is accessed via two steps.

The hexagonal pulpit, reading desk, communion table and altar are believed to have been rescued from St. Mary's Chapel.

The Reredos screen shows the Lord's Prayer (left)  the Ten Commandments (centre) and The Creed (right).

The Nave consists of oak box pews and narrow seats. 

The church was declared redundant in 1977.
